Bananas

Another fruit that is considered a favorite among those who prefer to have a quick breakfast, bananas are not recommended on an empty stomach. The fruit contains high amounts of magnesium which, if consumed before or after a workout does wonders for the body, but when eaten for breakfast, bananas can prove to be harmful to the heart due to the rapid increase in magnesium levels.

Green Vegetables

Cucumbers, green peppers, green beans and other vegetables filled with amino acids can lead to heartburns, abdominal pain, and flatulence.

Candy

Candy is one of the worst foods to eat for breakfast. Sweets on an empty stomach cause spikes in blood sugar levels, making the pancreas work extra hard. This habit is a precursor to the onset of diabetes.

Yoghurt

When eating yogurt on an empty stomach, you increase your levels of hydrochloric acid. This leads to fewer levels lactic acid bacteria, causing flatulence, stomach aches, and even diarrhea.

Tomatoes

The tannic acid from tomatoes affects the stomach when the fruits are consumed during the morning meal. Tomatoes on an empty stomach can cause ulcerous gastritis. They are better served at lunch in a sandwich or a salad.
